On a beautiful warm evening in September, Melodia Mariposa thanked our wonderful members, patrons and supporters with a very special event in Altadena.  Attendees enjoyed a very unusual concert and tasting experience as Kip Friedman, our Sommelier, introduced three delicious wines from Italy, France and Argentina – each was followed by amazing performances from Leah and I, the husband and wife duo who played and sang Italian opera, French love songs and Argentinian classics to a mesmerized audience.  Our Altadena coffee roaster, Kevin Mejia from Bevel Coffee presented a special roast for dessert while Leah and Ira played and sang Brazilian Bossa Nova.

Wine was provided by West Altadena Wine and Spirits and desserts were donated by Lark Bakery and Everything Bundt Cakes.
