Our Mission

Melodia Mariposa’s mission is to create intimate and unpretentious classical music events; engaging diverse individuals and communities while fostering appreciation and education among all ages. This is accomplished through thoughtful, creative programming and performances by world-class musicians.

We are centered on our local community of Altadena CA, however, since the Eaton Fire on January 7th 2025, we lost many of our concert venues and our founders home, so we try and host our events as close to Altadena as possible.  We hope you will support us.
